About Us

Arising from my / my friends' desire for somewhere local to shop an interesting range of plants, the Plant Centre opened in 2012 at Bromfield and has become, for a growing number of regular customers, the go-to place not just for all things gardening, but also for cards,   homewares and lovely / unusual gifts: we try to have something for everybody, and at all budgets.

We like to share our knowledge and enthusiasm for plants and gardening, and all of us have an interest, and our own varying areas of expertise. We want you to have fun at the Plant Centre or, at the very least, leave with something you will enjoy over a long period, or a gift that will make someone happy.

The Plant Centre is extremely dog-friendly (any dog welcome, regardless of size, behaviour, breed or country of origin).  Water is available, and the Food Centre's picnic tables provide a great spot to relax with dogs. Please don't leave your dog in the car, unless it's cold/cool and not at all sunny and the window open a few inches of course.

Food & drink, and play area on site

Ludlow Food Centre is our multi-award-winning neighbour in Bromfield and if you are making a day of it, you will no doubt visit. There is now a play area next to the picnic benches - making this a perfect spot to bring your farmily.

Ludlow Kitchen, next to the Plant Centre, is run by Ludlow Food Centre and serves delicious snacks, drinks, cakes and lunches made from very local produce. For more information & opening times visit www.ludlowkitchen.co.uk Recommended: their coffee, which drives us crazy with its aroma!

The Clive Inn is also right on our doorstep (or we are on its). A lovely relaxing environment to while away an hour or two with great food and drink - and we have heard a lot of very positive things about its rooms, too.
