New plants for Spring (updated 17 April)

Roses - we are quite well stocked now with our first deliveries from both Whartons and David Austin in.

Barbara Austin Perennials - these have been selling very strongly, but there are still some left if you hurry.

Chapel Cottage - 1L plants.  A new supplier for us this year for perennials, we have just received (11 April) our first delivery, looking good.  Just £3.49 each.

In bud and flower now
Alpines such as Aubrieta, Lithodora, Phlox subulata, Lewisia and Saxifraga.
Shrubs including forsythia, spiraea Bridal Wreath, Exochorda, Ceanothus and some clematis
Perennials including Polemonium, Erysimum, Scabious, Vinca

Plus: just green but looking strong
Peonies - selling fast
Anchusas, Hostas, Lavenders, Aquilegias, Lupins, Hollyhocks ++ more
Herbs: we now have two double-tier herb benches, with strawberries on the in between
Veg plants: These are to be found either in the shop (cucumbers, most tomatoes, courgettes etc) or outside the front of the shop (opposite the bedding plant benches) in the cart or in the small greenhouse
For the wildlife garden/natural areas: Cowslips, Lady's bedstraw, sweet woodruff, wild foxgloves, teasel, ragged robin
